Sustainable development can only be achieved when we achieve social growth, economic growth, and environmental protection. Without resource leadership, it is not possible to predict a time to achieve sustainability. Therefore, the present study examines the different dimensions of sustainable leadership and the relationships between them. Since the nature of sustainability leadership is a social construct resulting from the interaction between individuals in which the researcher can involve his or her values, it should be acknowledged that the present study has dealt with this issue through the lens of an interpretive paradigm. The approach of this research is inductive-deductive and due to the nature of the issue of sustainability and its influence on different industries and areas of activity (environmental sector, economic sector of society, and social and cultural sector), data were collected using the method of in-depth and semi-structured interviews among managers and experts of different organizations of the executive body of the government, which was done with 22 managers and deputies of governmental organizations in the city of Isfahan Interviews were conducted. Using multiple grounded theory, the collected data were analyzed using Goldkel & Kroneholm method, and finally the sustainable leadership model with 9 main categories was extracted. Creating sustainable value as a central category of the sustainable leadership model includes the dimensions of requirements, supporting and motivational factors, obstacles and limitations, characteristics of sustainable leaders, characteristics of sustainable organization, intra-organizational actions of sustainable leaders, external actions of sustainable leaders, and results and achievements of sustainable leadership.
