شوک‌ها، استراتژی‌های مدیریت فردی و تصمیم‌های مرتبط با مسیر شغلی در دوران همه‌گیری کووید ـ 19: پژوهشی داده‌بنیاد مبتنی‌بر رویکرد جیوئیا

چکیده

این پژوهش با هدف واکاوی شوک‌های مسیر شغلی حاصل از همه‌گیری کووید ـ 19، استراتژی‌های فردی مدیریت مسیر شغلی و تصمیمات اتخاذشده صورت گرفته است. جامعه مورد بررسی ورزشکاران حرفه‌ای بودند که ورزش برای آن‌ها نه یک سرگرمی و تفریح، بلکه یک شغل و حرفه محسوب می‌شود. جهت انتخاب اعضای نمونه برای انجام مصاحبه‌های عمیق، از روش نمونه‌گیری هدف‌مند و تکنیک گلوله برفی استفاده، در مجموع 14 مصاحبه انجام و جهت تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها، از روش جیوئیا استفاده شد. تجزیه و تحلیل داده‌ها حکایت از 57 کد اولیه، 16 مضمون و سه بُعدِ شوک‌های مسیر شغلی، استراتژی‌های مدیریت فردی مسیر شغلی و تصمیم‌های استراتژیک مسیر شغلی داشت. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که همه‌گیری کووید ـ 19 منجر به ایجاد هفت دسته شوک مسیر شغلی مشتمل بر ازدست‌رفتن فرصت توسعه حرفه‌ای، ایجاد محدودیت در منابع فیزیکی، ایجاد محدودیت در منابع مالی، تنش روانی، تنش فیزیکی، عدم قطعیت شغلی و محدودشدن فرصت اندوختن تجربه برای ورزشکاران حرفه‌ای شده است. ورزشکاران حرفه‌ای در قبال شوک‌های ایجادشده، هفت دسته استراتژی فردی مشتمل‌بر اجتناب، پذیرش، فرافکنی، بازنگری مثبت، کسب حمایت اجتماعی، توجه به امور متداول روزانه و حل مسئله را اتخاذ کرده‌اند. برآیند شوک‌های حاصله و استراتژی‌های فردی اتخاذشده، منجر به اتخاذ دو دسته تصمیم ترک مسیر شغلی ورزشی و تداوم مسیر شغلی ورزشی شده است.

This study aims to investigate the career shocks caused by the covid-19 pandemic, self-management strategies and the decisions made at this time. The study population was professional athletes who exercise is not a hobby but a job for them. We adopted a purposeful sampling along with a snowball technique. We collected data using semi-structured interviews, and draw on 14 interviews. We coded data based on the guidelines of thematic analysis approach that is used in the Gioia methodology. We generated 57 first-order codes, 16 second-order themes, and three aggregate dimensions. In our study, career shocks took one of the following seven forms: loss of professional development opportunities, limited access to physical resources, limited access to financial resources, psychological stress, physical stress, job uncertainty, and limited opportunity to gain experience. Our analysis led to identification of seven career self-management strategies: avoidance, acceptance, projection, positive reframing, seeking social support, paying attention to daily routines, and problem solving. Career shocks and adopted self-management strategies have led to the adoption of two decisions: leave or continue the sports career.
