This research is aimed at assessing the employment of experts in fitting their expertise in a military organization. This research follows a descriptive-survey method. Research population includes 2462 employees at strategic, managerial, official, educational, research, technical and scientific jobs at associate and higher academic levels having been employed at least for 5 years. 329 subjects were selected as sample group according to Cochran table to get the questionnaires. The conceptual model of the research was presented to 11 experts at human resource and organizers. The indicators and components of the model including the characteristics of expert employees, expertized jobs, and mission characteristics of the expertized jobs were identified and were validated by the experts. The final components and indicators were identified by applying Delphi method and Lauxh coefficient. The final questionnaire was designed afterwards. The results of gap analysis indicated that more than 70 percent of the employees were employed at jobs in accordance with their expertise. As the favorable percentage must be around 90, the current situation in this organization is moderately satisfactory. However, it is 20 percent away from favorable situation.
