In the past decade and the present era, youth orientation in the appointment of officials and managers has been one of the challenging issues. Considering that youth orientation can have different impacts on the process of appointing officials. The main objective of this research is to diagnose the damages of youth orientation in the appointment of officials in one of the institutions of the Islamic Revolution.
The method of conducting this research in terms of purpose is from the category of applied research and in terms of data collection method, it is descriptive-analytical, based on the interpretive model that has been used to analyze the data using content analysis method and using MAXQDA 2022 software.
The statistical population of this research for identifying the main components and indicators of the research is divided into two sections: the first section includes staff experts who themselves include three layers of high, middle, and rank officials, and the second section is formed by university experts. The sampling method was based on the snowball method, which was theoretically saturated with the tool of semi-structured interviews.
The findings of the research indicate that despite the challenges, youth orientation had a better situation in the past decade. Accordingly, the highest amount of damages were identified in the structural and behavioral dimensions, respectively, and the lowest amount of damages were identified in the meaningful and contextual dimensions, respectively..
