This research is intended to design a strategic excellence knowledge management model in Khuzestan Province Gas Company. This is a mixed (quantitative and qualitative) research. It is a descriptive exploratory research in terms of data collection following an applied-developmental purpose. The statistical population of the qualitative phase contains 15 university and industrial experts, The quantitative phase of the research includes 340 knowledge workers (process dealers, knowledge management team, knowledge facilitators, and the strategic group) at Khuzestan Province Gas Company among whom 124 employees were selected as sample according to Cochran formula. The validity of the qualitative data was verified by Newman's validation method, and the reliability and validity of the quantitative method were testified and validated by Cronbach's alpha coefficient and confirmatory factor analysis. Data analysis was carried out through grounded theory in the qualitative phase (designing the model). In the quantitative phase, the collected data was analyzed by SPSS and LISREL software. Finally, the strategic excellence integration knowledge management model was designed with three key components (strategies, processes, and outcomes), 19 criteria, 140 sub-criteria, 4 contextual variables and 4 preventive variables. Furthermore, the results of quantitative analysis indicated that the company obtained 1257 points from the strategic excellence knowledge management model, which results in a 983-point gap.
