Factors Relating to the Armed Forces
Retirees’ Intention for Returning to Work
Abstract
Retirement is an important period of life, which has been considered deeply in management, sociology of labor, and social psychology. It is necessary to study different aspects and various issues related to retirement in order to find out the causes of stress, anxiety and dissatisfaction of the retirees, and find solutions for them.
Statistical analysis of the data revealed that 15.5 percent of the retirees under study intended to go back to work. Having tested the research hypotheses, the researchers found out that individual, organizational, economical, social and psychological factors had more effects on their intention to go back to work.
