Intra-Organizational Factors Affecting the
Work Ethics of the Employees
Abstract
Development in human societies require organizations to feel more responsibility about different affairs of man. In the meantime, establishment of new organizations, even the optimum maintenance of old ones, necessitate the presence and activities of more professional and effective human resources. As any organization has its unique characteristics, it seems necessary to consider factors affecting work ethics of the employees. This research is intended to study various factors affecting work ethics of line and staff employees of Mellat Bank.
Classified according to systematic incidental sampling, the research population included all line and staff employees at personnel office. The subjects were divided into two groups of 58 (office workers), and 90 (line workers). The results were analyzed through descriptive (frequency and mean-oriented indexes) and inference (regression & T test) statistical methods. The results indicated that intra-organizational factors affecting work ethics are different in line workers and staff workers.
