Due to the increasing usage of information technology as a competition advantage in organizations, it seems necessary for organizations to have a deep understanding of human resource strategies for adaptation to this new situation. This will make organizations capable of making use of the technology in the era of information technology. This research is intended to investigate the differences between organizations in their strategies for adapting their human resource approaches to information technology strategies for responding to their clients’ needs to services and acquiring competition advantages. This is a qualitative research making use of content analysis. Data is collected by questionnaires. Research community involves two Iranian great banks (Mellat Bank and Pasargad Bank). Sample group is selected by snowball sampling method. The results indicated that both banks have been able to improve their capabilities in making effective use of information technology for developing banking services and acquiring competitive advantages by applying different human resource strategies.
